MIT Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Women's Administrator. RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a full-time (12 month) senior leadership/management position in the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER), requiring the ability to supervise and lead. As the Assistant Athletic Director/SWA this person will directly supervise and manage a number of varsity intercollegiate programs as well as designated auxiliary service areas in the department. In addition, they will oversee and coordinate intercollegiate practice and competitive scheduling and manage/supervise the hosting of varsity special events (conference championship or NCAA championship contests). QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree is required a Master's degree preferred. The successful candidate should have 3-5 years progressive administrative experience, preferably at the collegiate level. In addition, she should be highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Successful candidates should possess strong written and oral communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
