Cleveland, Ohio - The members of the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) elected Matt Donovan, associate director of athletics for development at the University of Indianapolis, to serve as president for 2008-09.
"First I want to thank Jane Myers of Bowling Green for leading our association during 2007-08," stated Donovan. "We had another outstanding convention in Dallas and I look forward to building on that success over the course of the next year as we prepare for our 2009 Convention."
Also elected to serve as officers for the 2008-09 were - 1st Vice President Tim McMurray, senior associate athletics director - development at Northern Illinois University; 2nd Vice President Jim Paquette, associate athletics director for development at Boston College; and 3rd Vice President Marija Pientka, associate athletics director/development at the University of Wisconsin.
New members to the executive committee include Dan Cloran, executive director, All for One Club at Xavier University; Kay Hargrave, associate athletics director, development at Auburn University; and Phillip McAlpin, assistant athletic director, development at North Carolina A&T State University. They join current Executive Committee members Whit Babcock, senior associate athletics director, University of Missouri; Julie Hall, assistant athletics director, University of California Riverside; Stephen Ponder, senior associate athletics director at Arizona State University; Jim Senter, associate athletics director development at the University of Colorado; and Dennis Young, associate athletics director at East Carolina University.
