Fall Season Closes in the Academy Directors' Cup Standings

As the fall season comes to a close in the United States Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings, Notre Dame, Grand Valley State (Mich.), Williams (Mass.) and Azusa Pacific (Calif.) hold the lead in Divisions I, II, III and the NAIA, respectively.

In Division I, just five points separate the top three places, with Notre Dame on top with 337 points, followed by Michigan with 333 points and defending champion Stanford with 332 points.

In Division II, with 297 points, defending champion Grand Valley State holds an 85-point lead over Edinboro (Penn.) with 212 points. Adams State (Colo.) is in third with 190 points.

Eight-time champion Williams has continued its dominance in Division III. With 412 points, the Ephs hold a commanding 141-point lead over Wisconsin La Crosse with 271 points. Messiah (Penn.) is in third with 266 points.

A new leader sits atop the NAIA standings as Azusa Pacific, last year's runner-up, boasts 381 points. Just 61 points behind is defending champion Simon Fraser (B.C.) with 320 points, followed by Lindenwood (Mo.), in third with 288 points.
