Carolyn Lewis is in her sixth year as DePaul's Director of Business and Financial Affairs.

Lewis' daily duties include managing all aspects of the athletic department budget, including purchasing, travel, accounts payable, payroll and financial planning.

Along with her duties at DePaul, Lewis will spend the 2006-07 year as the President for the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA).

Carolyn came to DePaul after spending three years at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. With the Cardinals, Lewis was the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Affairs and the Senior Woman Administrator.

Before joining the staff at Lamar, Lewis spent a year at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, La. as a marketing and development assistant. Carolyn has also worked at First of America Bank in Champaign, Ill.

Lewis is a 1992 graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor of arts in Sociology. She also earned a master's in Sports Administration from Indiana University in 1997. A native of Springfield, Ill., Lewis and her husband Brian reside in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.
