Clayton Hamilton is in his fifth year with the Florida State University Department of Athletics, currently holding the position of Business Manager. He is responsible for the fiscal and human resource operations of the department, including budgeting, travel, purchasing, payroll, contract management, and financial reporting; and assists with football game-day operations and hosted championships. He also has served as an instructor within the University's First Year Experience program. Prior to coming to Florida State, Hamilton worked in professional sports with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Cowboys.

Hamilton has been an active member of CABMA for four years, currently serving as 2^nd Vice President. He has previously served as Chair of the Membership Committee, Chair of the Publicity Committee, and was the recipient of the 2004 CABMA Rookie of the Year Award.

Hamilton graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1994 with a BSBA in Accounting and from the United States Sports Academy in 1997 with a MS in Sports Administration. He earned his CPA certification in 1998. Hamilton and his wife, Stephanie, have one daughter, Lauren Elisabeth.
