NACMA Elects New Officers and Board of Directors

At the 17th Annual National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Convention at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, the members chose Dennis Kalina, associate athletics director for development at the Gonzaga University to serve as president in 2008-09. Kalina will take over for Mary Pink, associate athletics director for marketing at the Iowa State University, who served as the Association's president in 2007-08.

NACMA Recognizes Northern Michigan as the 2008 Community Engagement Award of Excellence

At the opening of the 17th Annual National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Convention at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, the Association recognized the Second Annual Community Engagement Award of Excellence. The award is geared exclusively for NCAA Division II member institutions. The 2008 award was presented to Northern Michigan University

PINK PROMOTED TO ASSOCIATE ATHLETICS DIRECTOR

AMES, Iowa - Coming off a year of record-breaking season ticket sales in several sports, the Iowa State Athletics Department announced it has promoted Mary Pink to Associate Athletics Director for Marketing. The 13-year member of the Cyclone staff becomes the fourth Associate A.D. in the department.
